Seven year-old Becky, had a history of bronchial asthma and bronchitis since she was eight months old. She was unable to laugh, run, play, or bicycle hard without continued coughing, that untreated, led to bronchitis. Between October and March, she would have so many bouts of bronchitis that she was taking Amoxicillin two weeks on and two weeks off. In the summer of 1994, she went to an asthma specialist so she could get off Amoxicillin. That resulted in weekly allergy injections and two inhalers to be used three times a day. When she got bronchitis again at the end of the summer, another inhaler was prescribed. Perhaps the Amoxicillin was better.
Becky's parents were currently seeing a chiropractor for themselves. Their chiropractor had a wonderful library available for his patients. Becky's mother read about chiropractic care and asthma relief and decided to give it a try for Becky. By December, in a 3-month period, she had not had bronchitis, nor had she had coughing fits. Becky can laugh, run, play, and bicycle unrestricted. She is no longer taking Amoxicillin, or allergy injections, or inhalers. Becky now prefers chiropractic care as opposed to the alternatives. She is now able to live the life she deserves, unrestricted by the limitation asthma used to have on her life.
